THE COMPANY
The architectural firm was founded in Leesburg by John S. Dickerson, Sr. in 1978. After forty-eight years of practice and forty years with Dickerson Architects, Inc., John is now retired and enjoying his time away from the office.
Judd Dickerson, President, joined the firm in 1995 and became a partner shortly thereafter. Judd is now the Owner of this award-winning firm. Dickerson Architects has received numerous design awards from affiliations such as the American Institute of Architects, the Architectural Precast Association, and the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. Their work has been published in regional and national periodicals and featured on HGTV series, Beyond the Box.
THE PEOPLE
M. Judson Dickerson graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from Mississippi State University. He believes that the practice of architecture must be treated as a constantly evolving art form, grounded by building science. He is a member of the prestigious American Institute of Architects, National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, the Florida Green Building Coalition, and he is a licensed Realtor with Morris Realty & Investments, Inc. He leads the firm and team of professional consulting engineers with poise, intellect, and a focus on detail.
